Search Moth or Butterfly species by name
To search for a species by name, simply enter a sub-string within a moth's name. For example, if you were to enter the search term "Oak", the results would list examples such as Oak Beauty or Cloaked Minor. Alternatively, species can be searched via the Bradley and Fletcher numbering system.
Search by flight time
To search for a species by flight time, use the drop down menu and select the desired month.
Search alphabetically
If you are struggling to identify a species then you can use this option to list species by the starting character of their name. Results can be displayed either by text or as thumbnail images to aid with your idendification.
